So, let’s chat a bit about style.  What does style mean to you?  Is it a certain aesthetic you gravitate towards? How much time and effort is put into your daily outfit?  Well, if you’re here I’m assuming you care to a certain extent.  I’m here to remind you to never SLACK! I’m not talking about a quest for perfection, just don’t drop the ball and leave your home looking like a hot mess.

One of my main life’s mottos is to always commit fully. From running a business to playing scrabble. I’m always in it to win it and I set my expectations high. How does this translate to my style? Well,  I care about my appearance, I think about the occasion, and I have a plan.

I have always been a firm believer that when you are out of the house…you’re on stage! So what if you’re just going to run some errands.? Put some thought and a look together because you never know who you’re going to run into! You don’t need to spend hours agonizing, but take a moment to put a cohesive look in place. Yes, 9 times out of 10 you can run to the corner store to grab your milk and go but what if you ran into a coworker or worse….your EX? You would want to be ready and on your A game. Right?  Imagine, grocery shopping at whole Foods one afternoon to run into the wife of your boss and you are giving them casual flare, white sneakers, drawstring joggers layered T-shirt with hoodie and hair on Fleek?  Instead of panicking, you will exude confidence and not miss an opportunity to further build your reputation with both her and the company.  It may seem like a daunting task to ALWAYS be on it, but overtime and with repetition, you will never miss an opportunity to create your best first impression.

  6. Great style and shots. Agree with your philosophy to “commit fully”, whatever the activity. And, the first impressions always count. Cheers.

  7. That’s an interesting philosophy that when you’re out of the house you are on stage. I certainly need to dress up more, you do look stylish in your photos!

  8. Interesting way to look at it. As a SAHM of three, I am not always sporting my A game.
